The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and Deputies are committed to working with the citizens of Lincoln County to fight crime and improve the quality of life for the people of Lincoln County.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s jurisdiction is 4,859 square miles, with a population of 20,497 (2010 census). Lincoln county includes the communities of Carrizozo, Ruidoso, Ruidoso Downs, Capitan, Lincoln, The Hondo Valley, White Oaks, and Corona.
